We specialize in the needs of nonprofits and women-owned small businesses. For these it is crucial to develop and maintain a powerful internet presence. The internet can open doors of communication with funders and customers, and allow for networking with other organizations. Without a strong internet presence, many organizations and small businesses are unable to be found and their ventures fail.
If you go through the traditional channels to obtain a website, you could potentially pay hundreds and even thousands of dollars for basic design services. Many small nonprofits and businesses cannot afford these services, yet require a web presence to run and stay afloat.
Nonprofits have unique needs in website design, because their sites need to be accessible for special needs users. Small businesses may also have unique needs because they require ecommerce capabilities. I specialize in both these fields.
I offer discounted professional design services for non-profits, WAHM's, and women-owned small businesses. Depending on your needs, I only charge $10-20 per page designed, with the average website containing 4 pages. I can also help you register a domain name, find a place to host your site, design a logo, and design print marketing materials. Payment can be made through paypal and/or barter for services or goods.
How does this work?
We will first discuss your needs. I will then send you some rough drafts of your design, as well as the estimate, and service contract. At this point, you will pay half, with the other half due on delivery of final product. If we are bartering, the terms of the barter will be put in writing on the service contract.
How are you able to charge so little?
I am a homemaker, author, and certified graphics artist. All of my work is done out of my home, so I have very little overhead. I have also created and accumulated several dozen templates that are easily changed. This allows me to create a unique website for you, while saving on labor.
